Can you believe it Caro - we're here in London!
Caro and Ali hit Piccadilly
And it's raining, no way - they told me it never rains in England in the summer.
In motion...
Did you see that?! It's a police box next to the tube station - just like the tardis!!!
Do you think we can beat the storm front?
Rain approaching
Let's make another plan then ...
Hyde Park Corner
Maybe we should have lunch with a pint? Or a Pimms!
Beef and ale pie and chips
Fish and chips and mushy peas
After that we can get onto some serious tourist business - perhaps have a look at Westminster ...
Big Ben - absolutely!
Turrets of Westminster
And then maybe visit another part of town ...
Tate Modern at Southwark
St Paul's and the Millenium Bridge
Tourist snap - Ali muses over Tower Bridge
I might even head further afield to visit one of the great universities ...
Radcliffe Camera, Oxford
Or maybe a much more ancient and magical site like Avebury.
Standing stone circle
I'm sure one of the few places you are likely to find a ...
Henge shop!

Hi Ali,
Lovely to see the photos of us in London. I have since spent an idyllic week in West Dean, and have begun another week in Notthingham. So far the food has been quite above expectation. I think I've had the best strawberries of my life. Maybe the UK is finally recovering its true food traditions, a mere 50 years after WWII. Hope you've had a great time in Vancouver. Caro.
Sounds excellent Caro!
Having a great time in Vancouver, getting my fill of baby cuddles and shoe stores - can't wait to show you the spectacular red heels I bought! Oh la la - just right for Paris next week.
Fabulous food here too - helps when you stay with fantastic cooks, and it's been warm and lovely.
Lots of love, Ali xx
I'm so jealous - that's all i have to say!!! Red heels!!! I have bad news Ali - I'm buying a house so my shoe shopping days will be coming to an end shortly!!!! :-(
Btw - love the blog!!! the pics are fantastic...especially the food - it's making me hungry!
Take care
M
Just wait for my next installment Monica - you will swoon! Congrats on the big purchase though, will your new armoire have room for all your Jimmy Choos?
Thanks for looking after my wife!
Hey Al,
Looking good! The shoes are perfect! Hope you are turning heads in gay Paris! Lucy is in Rome so flash those shoes, actually rub them together and make a wish they are so much better than the ones in the Wizard of Oz! i will have to purchase the great pair of red shoes I saw for Peta and send you a pic!
